Principle

Direct attorney access

You work with Chema, not a paralegal or junior associate you have never met.

Calls returned within 24 hours. WhatsApp open seven days a week. One consistent point of contact from intake through final disposition, so you never have to start your story over again.

At many firms the attorney signs you up and then disappears. The work gets pushed down to a paralegal, then to an intake coordinator, then to whoever picks up the phone. By the third call you are explaining your own case to a stranger.

That is not how we operate. The lawyer who answers your first call is the lawyer who handles your file - and the lawyer who stands up in court. There is no junior associate behind a curtain. There is no rotating staff. The relationship is direct, and it stays direct from intake through the last signature.

How we stay reachable

  • Calls are returned within 24 hours - usually the same business day. If the attorney is in trial, you will hear from staff with an honest update and an ETA.
  • WhatsApp at (956) 500-1371 is monitored seven days a week for clients with active cases. Use it for quick questions, document drops, and court-date confirmations.
  • Every client has the attorney’s direct email. Not a generic inbox.
  • For urgent matters (arrest, ICE detention, emergency hearing), the after-hours line goes directly to the attorney.

What we ask of you in return

Direct access works because clients respect it. Use it for substantive questions, court updates, and real emergencies. Save the chit-chat for the in-person meeting. When you do call, leave a clear voicemail or message so we can come back to you with a complete answer rather than a callback that asks for more detail.

Why the firm is structured this way

A solo-attorney practice is a deliberate choice. It caps how many cases we can take, which is exactly the point. Smaller caseload, direct relationship, full ownership of the file. You hire one lawyer and you get one lawyer.
